The method provided by wifi.brown.edu to connect to Brown(secure) is mostly unsuccessful. The IT Knowedgebase provides the manual information for setting up the network: How to: Manually Adding Eduroam WiFi To Linux Distributions: http://www.brown.edu/information-technology/knowledge-base/article/2022 How to: Manually Adding Brown (Secure) WiFi To Linux Distributions: http://www.brown.edu/information-technology/knowledge-base/article/1693
However, if there are those who are new to Linux or possibly prefer an automated method, I have created something that may work. This utility is a USE AT YOUR OWN RISK utility but has been tested to work in the latest builds as of this entry of Fedora and Ubuntu (64-bit).
